A platform enabling the EV battery supply chain.

Sales and production of electric vehicles (EVs) continue to accelerate globally, with double-digit annual growth expected over the next decade.

To keep the expansion and development of EVs charging ahead, vehicle manufacturers,  automotive suppliers and governments are plugging in more investment to regional supply chain and gigafactory networks for lithium-ion batteries.

Developing a robust and flexible supply chain will be increasingly a competitive advantage in the race for electrification.

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are investing billions of dollars to secure a supply of critical minerals, diversify suppliers, and expand their manufacturing capacity.

There are 136 battery factories under construction in Europe and the US, many are several times larger than the current largest plant, the Tesla Gigafactory 1 in Nevada.

At the moment, the lion’s share of critical battery materials are sourced in Asia, but the industry is shifting from being highly concentrated in specific locations to a more global operation.

Whether it’s the Asian company that is moving to Europe or North America or new entrants that are coming in and supplying Europe and North America, the battery material supply chain will absolutely have to be localized. ReCharge will be a key agent in enabling that transition.

Let’s work together.
